Abstract

We invest more and more in technology and means of communication, new applications and new forms of accessing and spreading information emerge every day. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is again in the centre of many researches revolutionising Science, alerting Society and, naturally, it will be used as an important tool in tomorrow’s teaching-learning process, promoting inclusive education and academic success. The main objective of this article is to analyse the scientific publications related to the use of AI in education. In this sense, a systematic literature review was undertaken using two methods of citation analysis – bibliographic coupling and co-citation. The results allowed the identification of some articles, scientific publications, most influential authors, collaboration networks and clusters of contributions to literature. This kind of analysis is important to help us approach a 360 vision of the issue and understand the structural relations of theoretical and methodological connectivity of a domain between documents and researchers.
