Abstract
The present paper pretends to analyze the role played by the Internet as a mean to diffuse radical Islamism, pointing out that the emergence of users (v.g. Younis Tsouli, Aabid Khan), that not only participated in radical forums, but disseminated radical information – and also incentivized the practice of terrorist jihadist acts. Likewise it is important to analyze the advantages that Internet offers to radical Islamism – such as user´s security, as a mean to supply information – and what is the relevance of the Internet in the process of radicalization, with the objective to pinpoint some solutions to combat this phenomenon.
