Abstract

A composition by Joana Barbosa was selected as cover photo of March's 2022 Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces issue. The composition shows a schematic representation of lichenicidin's mode of action and the effect of this lantibiotic on Staphylococcus aureus cells, imaged using atomic force microscopy.
