Abstract
The so called Cognitive and Neurosciences are key disciplines to a better understanding of human ways of thinking and behaviour. The present article shows by the help of a short example (the so called Columbus- Letter) how the analysis of historical and literary sources can benefit from them. New issues can be launched by asking for the way how we think instead of only looking for what we think. Especially exact sciences expect from the Arts and Arts' research insight view on experimental forms that stay close to the limits of communication.
