Abstract
This article tries to put some of the central topics of the Trinitarian theology in relation to certain trends in contemporary philosophy. It starts working the classic relationship between unity and plurality, in the framework of the discussion on the monistic vision of reality, which develops again around the debate on monotheism. Given certain failure of these approaches, it suggests the development of a more fertile relationship with the French phenomenological tradition, trying to work the human relations of paternity, filiation and of love itself, understood in the environment of donation.
