A book about the life of Agostinho Gomes da Rocha (1922-2016) and his wife Guilhermina Rosa da Conceição (1922-2018), and their family, from Mansores (Arouca). It provides a community context in which they grew up and lived, traces their life journey, and includes genealogical information, archival documents, and photographic images. The work employs a participant observation method, as the editor is the grandson of the couple at the centre of the study. Some contents available only in print.
