Abstract

The present chapter is focused on current mesoporous biomaterials incorporating bioactive molecules (BMs) to enhance bone healing. Some factors are reported in the present chapter on the benefits of mesoporous biomaterials embedding BMs mainly in the field of oral and cranio-maxillofacial rehabilitation, such as wound healing, bacterial inhibition, drug delivery pathways, and antiinflammatory and analgesic effects.
