Abstract
This paper discusses concepts and connects theory and practices of ColectiveGarapa’s processes of production. The research reflects upon the work of the Collective, specially its most recent project "Postcards to Charles Lynch”, corresponding it with other artists’ productions. The paper aims to situate Collective Garapa in the field of the visual arts and also to explore the intersections of such field with the documentary practices and the scientific communication. Postcards to Charles Lynch was Granted by “Bolsa ZUM de fotografia do Instituto Moreira Sales (IMS)” in 2014.
