Abstract
The activities that emphasize the ability and the participation of the local actors in projects of cooperation for development, particularly in the Southern countries, play a decisive role in a desired social change, mainly when considered as socio-pedagogical practices. That is, when they are articulately framed by education and social solidarity. Prepared under the Master's degree in Educational - Social Pedagogy and based on a reflective analysis of our professional path, particularly in international cooperation projects, this study sought to highlight a committed vision of the action over the other, as a subject of otherness, recognized as the main actor in his own development and in the development of his own community.
