Abstract

The school is a setting of excellence in promoting healthy behavior patterns throughout life. Theeducation careers and teachers play a key role in protecting the health and development of adolescents inthe context of a series of behaviors and conditions. In the preparation of an intervention project in theschool context, a longitudinal approach is perspective (2014-2023) based on three areas: behaviorsassociated with substance use; behaviors additives without substance and behaviors associated withsexuality. In the first health planning stage, the diagnosis of the situation, defined the clinical decision-making in nursing in three focus of attention: the Decision Making Process in students; the ProfessionalRole in teachers and the Parental Role in parents. This paper describes the Professional Role of teachers,while nursing diagnosis, within the areas under study, using a case study method.
