Abstract

Two distinct itineraries, but articulated from a common inspiration – Manuel Sérgio's thinking regarding the driving condition of human experience, with particular attention to sports cultures. The first part brings together texts that give an account of the reception of the paradigm of human motricity, in a wide network that is distributed throughout the Latin‑American space. The second part brings together the texts resulting from the first Manuel Sérgio Seminar, held between November 7 and December 5, 2019. This modular seminar – in this first edition dedicated to the theme Cinema and Sports Cultures – presents‑itself as a decisive instrument for the mission of the Chair, with regard to its training objectives and its responsibility in the dissemination of knowledge.
