Abstract
The author begins by characterizing social justice in today's times, inserting it into an abnormal framework, bearing in mind not only the plural theoretical dimension but also the normative plane. Next, and after to present three educational models: the human capital, human rights and social justice, the author holds up a particular way in the latter, emphasizing some of its possibilities and implications in terms of educational qua-lity. However, despite the relevance of this framework, this work suggests other ways of seeing justice and educational quality at school, due to other rationalities that underlie the school reality and that will require greater attention to how a just and quality school can be built.
