Abstract

The changes in national education policies that have occurred in the last decades of the twentieth century generated transformations that led to an identity crisis in nursing teachers. This article aims to present a methodological research design comprising an articulation of two studies: the first one characterized by an extensive character regarding the social portrait of the nursing teachers, and a second biographic study, based on semi-structured interviews among a sample of participants from all the country. The following stages are highlighted between the preparatory study and the main study: description, conceptual structuring and theorizing, which is detailed.
