Abstract

Theopoetics: mystical and poetry evokes this exercise of producing the paradox in which the impossible is possible in language. This poetic capacity comprises as a divine Word, either to the poet or to the mystic, when in the condition of being an inspired word. However, to evoke Michel de Certeau, poetry as a discursive practice is also related to a social practice, with two functions: ethics and criticism. Thus, in times of walls, theopoetics are called to be a bridge, and here not only because it unites the old and the new continent, but because the hope that gives us brings us closer to the days that have not yet been fully realized, but that are already present in the noblest dreams of humanity that inhabit our desires, and feed the resistance. The poetics of mystics, naturally insurgent, do not authorize the abandonment of the ethical, and all ethical discourse is somehow mystical, especially in new times of theodicy that seek to justify the unethical.
