Abstract
After 9/11, several governments seek out moderate partners in the Muslims communities to combat jihadist terrorism. However, an Islamic radical who claimed to be against terrorism was labeled as a moderate – even if he expressed opposition to principles of the rule of law.
The Muslim Brotherhood stands out as a global ideological movement, more than a group, and this article aims to analyze the implementation of the ideology of Islamism by the «New Brotherhood in the West» (Vidino,2010:53), through a phased Islamization with the objective of creating «Islamic Nations in Europe» and the threats that such an option entails for liberal democracies.
