Abstract

Total denture occlusion still remains a very demanding work to the clinician and to the technician in order to obtain bi-balanced interdental contacts. To define the importance of posterior occlusion determinants in complete denture, were defined as main aims of this work: 1 - to develop systems that can identify interdental contacts; 2 - to test the ability to simulate the 3D mandibular movement; 3 - to evaluate the impact of sagital condylar guidance changes in occlusal contacts. It was been proved that the new technologies created are useful to obtain the primary goal of total oral rehabilitation that is the functional harmony between teeth and the dynamic of temporomandibular joint.
