Abstract
The present article renders an overview of the general features of the legal relationship between cooperative workers and cooperatives under Portuguese law, highlighting some issues discussed by the Portuguese scholars and jurisprudence. Accordingly, in addition to briefly analyse the relevant constitutional and legal provisions, our main scope is to address the issues of the qualification of the legal relationship between cooperative workers and cooperatives and the cooperative disciplinary proceedings.
