Abstract
The philosophic and literary utopia stresses the ideal city imagined by its author. Having as the main reference the work by Thomas More, utopia is characterised by the expression and the myth of the ideal city. It expresses itself as an action paradigm with the aim of being created by humans the ideal status of perfection or social harmony, based on a community of its nature and the faith of man. Based on the distinction of the levels of discourse and action and its tight link to utopia, the enigma of the bridge arises – the bridge might be expressed by the link between utopia and society from which it pretends to be the paradigm. At last, authors would like to show that the concretizations include dystopia and they end up by illustrating that utopia doesn’t live there.
