Abstract
The present essay proposes a specific definition of the concept of “labyrinth” as a possible model for a new form of knowledge that recovers the unitive dimension of knowledge, lost throughout history. Thus, a retrospective path is presented, starting from the creation of the classic labyrinth and the role of the Minotaur and advancing to the example of Comenius, through his path towards the “paradise of the heart”. As a conclusive point, we intend to present the proposal of a utopia for knowledge that allows the joining of “emotion” to “reason”, in a unit capable of establishing an effective collaboration between different areas of knowledge.
