Abstract

This chapter focuses on the production and distribution of propaganda material targeted at domestic and foreign audiences throughout World War I. Particular attention is paid to the coordinating bodies set up in the different countries to ensure that propaganda was coherent and unified. The chapter primarily focuses on German and British propaganda, but it also analyzes the propaganda efforts of Russia, France, and Belgium.
