Abstract

The present study intends to propose an exegetical-theological path, based on the biblical pericope of Acts 13, 15-41, which narrates Paul's preaching in Antioch of Pisidia. After a first chapter that historicizes the process of Hellenization and its influences on the rooting of diaspora communities, crucial for the development of the Pauline mission, as well as the cultic reform, we proceed to a literary-theological analysis in search of the main theological pillars based in our text. We later converge on the theological aspect, which explores the history of Israel within the history of salvation, in the condition of God's privileged contact with humanity and illustrates a relationship of continuity, according to the standard model: prophecy-fulfillment.
