Abstract
The objective of this dissertation is to delve into the theological value of justicefound in the triad of Hosea 4:1-3. This pericope presents to us the judicial action that YHWH takes against the people of Israel and guides us through the journey of conversion of this very people. The starting point is the historical context of the life of the prophet Hosea, encompassing his social, political, and cultural environment, focusing on issues of political and religious idolatry. Next, we address the person of the prophet and his work, his relationship with the prophet Elijah, and the perspectives of his theology. In a second moment, we provide the contextualization of his work, including the analysis, structure, literary genre of his text, and the uniqueness of his oracles. We will also analyze the specific terms of this triad, which are: faithfulness ( אֶמֶת( , mercy( חֵסֵד( , and knowledge of God ( דַּעַת אֱ[הִםי( . Then, we will present the entire problem generated by the absence of this triad in the life of the people of Israel and its consequences. The result of these actions before creation will be mentioned, and finally, the perspective of salvation in the exercise of justice ( ָהָקָדְצ ) and righteousness will be discussed ( ִמ ְשׁ טָפּ ).
