Abstract

This internship report was developed within the scope of the unit Supervised Teaching Practice and Report, in the second year of the Mestrado em Ensino de Informática of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa de Braga, for the acquisition of professional qualification for the exercise of the activity of computing teacher, defined by Decree-Law 220/2009 and aims to reflect on the activities developed in the last school year as a teacher trainee.. This activity took place in the discipline of Information Technologies and Communication, in a class of the 9th grade at a school of the 3rd CEB with secondary education, integrated in the Portuguese public education system located in Oliveira de Azeméis. This work is structured in components that goes from the framework of Supervised Teaching Practice, through its realization, by personal reflections on observed facts, faced problems and difficulties, by critical analysis of the choices made in terms of resources and methodologies adopted and positions undertaken during the planning and teaching of the classes. All this from training as teachers construction perspective. Finally comes the research project, a case study, which addresses the teaching model oriented for Problem-based Learning as a promoter model for some cross-curricular competencies.
