Abstract

In the present digital era, digital social networks acquire a power of diffusion that makes them essential for any service or organization. These networks are no longer just for social use and they begin to be essential tools for any professional in the field of communication. Communication begins to be more important in organizations and it is seen as an essential tool for the internal and external success of any organization. However, it is an area that is not used in its full potential, since it is still not given the due autonomy and responsibility to the professional of communication. After a three-month internship, in the Institute of Arts and Humanities of University of Minho, this report aims to realize how an implementation of a digital communication plan contributes for the improvement of internal and external communication. In order to achieve the goal of this internship report it is necessary to analyze and understand some concepts of the communication area, to describe and analyze the tasks performed in the internship location and understand how the implementation of communication strategies affected the internal and external communication of the Institute of Arts and Humanities.
