The recurring changes within organizations, result of a competitive global market, and characterized by an adverse economical conjecture produce direct consequences in the way employees and organizations communicate and relate with each other. Hence, and considering the influence of this context on employee's motivation and satisfaction in organizations, it becomes relevant to understand to what extent does the internal communication intervenes in the way employees are committed and the way they relate with the organization. This work is a case study applied in a national aviation company, and tries to perceive the relations between i) the internal communication and the organizational commitment, and ii) the internal communication and the affective commitment. The obtained results confirmed our intuition, allowing us to conclude that the employees with a better perception of the internal communication are more committed and affectively connected with their organization, rather than the ones that have a worst, negative, percept
