This dissertation looks at how communication affects and shapes the interpersonal relationship between leaders and followers at the professional level. This research reflects on how leaders and followers communicate and how communication is established between them, can reflect on the construction of a professional relationship. Increasingly leadership is defined as a form of influence in interpersonal relationships and therefore the leader of the figure stands in harmonizing these relationships on a professional level, with the ultimate aim of the good performance of the organization. The communication is a decisive advantage, inasmuch as it provides the development of a next and engaging relationship between employees. A good working relationship meets the leadership with the intention of bringing, to develop and strengthen trust between leaders and followers. Although, the leader must learn to master the verbal and non-verbal communication, as both contribute to the strengthening and credibility of the leader. The organization is not an area where there are isolated brains. It is a common space where the individual mind is infiltrated and absorbed into the collective mind. So there is an exchange of ideas, goals, values, consciously or unconsciously are involved in a professional relationship through communication. As an illustrative example of how communication can develop effectively or not the professional relationship between leader and follower, this research is based on seven interviews with leaders and followers in different organizations.
