In recent years, more and more people have noticed the importance of the Portugueselanguage in Macao, and more and more educational institutions are offering Portuguesecourses. Thus many parents expect their children to know how to speak Portuguese. Toincrease the learners' interest and effectiveness in learning, it is important to constantlyimprove teaching methods and try to look for teaching methods that are appropriate for thetarget group. That is why the idea of teaching Portuguese with didactic games emerged, which not only helps Chinese students to express themselves more easily in Portuguese butalso increases the atmosphere in Portuguese classes. This report was written to explore the possibility of teaching the simple perfect past tenseand the imperfect past tense through creative didactic games in the Portuguese as a ForeignLanguage class with Chinese learners. It is expected that using the didactic games in thePortuguese class has a positive effect on the development of their multiple intelligences andtheir learning attitude.
