The present work, a closing and completion of our training and apprenticeship in Visual Arts teaching, whose theme is the relationship between Aesthetics Culture and Visual Arts Teaching. So we believe that thinking about the relationship between Aesthetics and Visual Arts, based on our teaching practice, will be useful to achieve the general and specific aims of Drawing as a school subject. Since we worry about improving the aesthetical discernment, this will call the attention to preserve the patrimony as well as to develop creativity and innovation which are important, urgent and indispensable skills. To this purpose we analyzed the aspects that in post modern times more directly affect the relationship between Aesthetics and the Visual Arts, using as a comparative term common modern notions of the subject. About the modern notion of Aesthetic and of Visual Arts we asserted that there is an orientation to study the conditions that make any object beautiful and we observed the abilities of the subject to learn and recognize the beauty. In what concerns the postmodern art notion we said that it is surrounded by an atmosphere where the subjective relativism and narcissistic attitude prevail. This attitude is directly related to the hyper capitalism of waste engaging in its orbit all the cultural production that became a commodity like any other, disqualifying the artistic production. Trying to raise awareness among the students of this situation it was our objective, to lay the bases in order to pursuit aesthetic references, believing that, they will improve their relationship with visual arts. The third chapter of our report, devoted to pedagogical practices aims to show that this clarification reflected on the demands of aesthetic culture and appreciation for art, has positive incidences in student’s performance.
