This master’s dissertation is concerned with the discriminatory practices based on race or ethnicity, which still exist, nowadays, in access to justice. In this scope, special attention is paid to international, regional European and national jurisprudence regarding discrimination suffered by racial or ethnic minorities based on race or ethnic group and access to justice. Our main goal is to find out if, at any stage of access to justice, a person that belongs to a racial or ethnic minority receives equal or different treatment compared to a person who does not belong to a minority.
