We can see that aging population brings a change in the status of the elderly and its relationship with other people. This brings some consequences for the lives of the elderly, such as: roles changing in the family, at work and in society; difficulty in adapting to these new roles, decreased self-esteem, lack of motivation and difficulty in planning the future, depression, organic, physical, emotional and social skills losses, and difficulty in accepting guidance for troubleshooting. Given this reality, it is common to watch a isolation of the elderly, who spends all day in front of a TV, without interacting with anyone else. Thus, gradually, his memory will weaken and decrease his chances of dialogue from day to day. This study, whose theme is Education for Autonomy in Old Age: The Right of Lifelong Learning, aims to demonstrate that, through an Educational Program, this tendency can be reversed. The elderly may enrich themselves intellectually, having the opportunity to recall their experiences, using them as exchange of knowledge and transforming them into a new way to participate socially, through positive interaction.
