A espiritualidade cristã em Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica

Abstract

School takes a fundamental space in adolescent and young people life. The school is one of the main places for socialization. A space for personal and social development. The presence of the discipline of Catholic Moral and Religious Education at schools contributes to the integral formation that is foreseen in the various recent documents in the education area. Nowadays, education needs more and more an approach to all areas of human life, including religion and spirituality. With the evolution of society, religion, religiosity and spirituality suffered changes in the way they were perceived and lived. Today, students feel lost in the midst of too much information provided from the global context in which they are inserted. It is necessary to make them to see that christian spirituality is valid for the process of personal, social and religious development. It is important to help adolescent and young people to find a path to meet Jesus and understand that He gives meaning to life, allowing them to grow in their relationship with themselves, with others and with God.
