A espiritualidade mariana do sacerdote

Abstract

The main theme of this dissertation is priestly spirituality in a Marian dimension. We all have a spiritual dimension, known to many, unknown to others. Many of our human problems are caused by a spiritual deformation, by a decline in inner life. We look for the best ways to explore the world, the universe, but when it comes to the inner world we explore little. Priests, as citizens of heaven but inhabitants of the world, increasingly need to rediscover their interiority. In order to serve well and with meaning, priests need to have a well-structured spiritual life. With this work we will try to show that this journey can be made with the help and companionship of Mary, the Mother of Jesus. The journey we are going to take will have three stages: biblical, magisterial, and pastoral. In these three themes we will present valid arguments so that the priest understands how important Mary is for our spiritual life.
