Abstract

The fact that the public policy of humanization of health care have been consolidated in recent years, and that to best achieve their goals, should be guided by the so-called principle of humanity, whereby man must be regarded as the center of the action ethics, accepting the application of the Kantian imperative that states that the ethically appropriate action must consider man as an end in itself, not only as a means of satisfying the interests of the various social forces active in health care. It is in this context that presents the humanization as a present reality in health care, proves to be a subject of relevant study to the extent that it is a real need for good practice in professional groups under study. For this study three publications of different professional groups - nurses, doctors and hospital administrators. Chose whether Servir, Acção Médica and Revista Portuguesa de Saúde Pública magazines by the time they were published. Care must therefore have human quality, that consideration should be given their freedom and responsibility, in short, who is respected and valued his dignity as a person. Speaking of humanization in health systems is to listen to the cry of the man or the woman weak and vulnerable when suffering, sick or dies, wants to be considered, valued, treated as a human person until the end.
