The arrival of social media has transformed our society. Nowadays, there is an uncontrollable desire to share parenting in feeds, creating a true digital album, often with access to a vast audience. The exhaustive sharing of photographs, videos, or information by parents, through social media, called sharenting, involves a series of dangers and risks, also emerging as a new challenge for the minor's personality rights, affecting their gradual autonomy. It is believed that parents practice these behaviors with the best of intentions, but ignoring the purpose of parental authority, that is, the best interests of the child. Social media cannot be a place outside the law. Therefore, we need to understand in what terms these conducts are illicit and if so, what are the responses in our legal system to protect the position of the minor.
