Abstract
Adult and Youth Education (EJA) is a fundamental educational space for guaranteeing the right to education for individuals historically marginalized from traditional school systems. Furthermore, the motivation for choosing this theme is linked to the understanding that inclusive education is only effective when there are objective and formative conditions for teachers to develop critical, creative, and contextualized practices that utilize digital technologies as means of pedagogical mediation and not merely as technical tools. The general objective: To understand how teacher training in digital technologies can contrib ute to the inclusion and learning of young people and adults with special educational needs in munic ipal schools in Fortaleza, identifying challenges and opportunities in the process of implementing in clusive pedagogical practices. It is observed that, often, municipal schools face significant limitations in infrastructure and training, which compromises the construction of consistent inclusive practices. In the context of mu nicipal schools in Fortaleza, the setting of this study, the significant presence of students with different types of special educational needs reinforces the need for pedagogical practices that articulate tech nology and inclusion in an integrated and contextualized way.| Date of Award | 3 Feb 2026 |
