Abstract

The aim of this essay is to understand how Management Knowledge and Communication influence technologies on contemporary organizations, framed by a literary review on Management Knowledge in its organizational context. If, once, in the history of organizations, machinery and technology, per se, were enough to generate income and ensure the success of organizations nowadays issues like intellectual capital of organization employees are considered very important to ongoing adaptation, development of external context and in achieving success. This way, by helping access and promoting information trade in the organization, Management Knowledge is a relevant issue to be discussed. The literary review is structured on debating two major thematics, with the ultimate goal of understanding the connection and impact of both. The first issue to explore is Knowledge Management. We intend to discuss the issue in an organizational point of view, understanding the concept and its implications in the daily life of contemporary organizations. For this effort subthemes like: Intelectual Organizational Capital; Drivers for Knowledge Sharing; Relation between Knowledge and New Technologies; Transfer and Expiration of Knowledge. The second theme will address the Internal Communication in Organizations, trying to understand its importance, advantages and capabilities. Thus, approaching matters like: Communication Objectives; Main Communication Models and Networks. Method wise, the presented essay is based on the application of two data recovery techniques, for further analysis. It is the elaboration of inquiries by survey to Egor Human Resources elements, as well as the making of an interview with a person in charge – same organizations’ high ranking. The construction of the issues approached in the survey by inquire and on the interview was theoretically based on models and investigations previously presented on the literary review. The main results show that the target organization considers Knowledge Sharing as a differential and evolutional factor of Egor Human Resources, valuing the role of IT and Internal Communication as promotors of the already mentioned Knowledge Sharing. On the other hand, results were equally calculated which show workers reactiveness to Knowledge Sharing, in the studied organization.
