A hospitalidade como paradigma de intervenção sociopedagógica
: um estudo de caso

Abstract

The present work corresponds to a dissertation presented to the Catholic
University of Portugal, Faculty of Education and Psychology to obtain a Master's degree
in Educational Sciences - specialization in Social Pedagogy and is entitled "Social
hospitality as an intervention paradigm - a case study".
The study that we proposed to carry out was based on personal concerns
emerging from our professional context and aimed to understand the extent to which
dynamics of network work currently provided for in the scope of socio-educational
policies to be effective as practices of sharing and cooperation between actors.
In this sense, to support the theoretical framework, bibliography on education,
socio-community development and hospitality was used, guided by Social Pedagogy.
In empirical terms, a case study was developed, framed by a qualitative
approach, to characterize the perception of socio-pedagogical actors about values,
hospitality practices and the need for training in the context of socio-pedagogical work in
a network.
