The main objective of this Final Report is to provide knowledge of the paths taken within the scope of my internship as part of the Master in Music Education. It is divided into two fundamental parts: the first part exposes the parameters that underlie my Professional Practice (PP), the second part presents the development of the Pedagogical Intervention Project (PIP), in the form of a scientific article. The global theme involved in this Report was the following: “The implementation of pBuzz teaching as a didactic approach in the initiation of the study of brass instruments: Paths of an Action-Research”. Throughout the development of my Professional Practice, pedagogical and didactic teaching-learning strategies were approached in the context of wind instruments (horn) and chamber music, with students from the Conservatory of Music and Arts of Lagos (CMAL). Plans of classes given, reflections on classes attended, among other developments, are presented. The Pedagogical Intervention Project (PIP) had as its object of study (O) the initiation to the practice of pBuzz, of which the central question is situated as follows: Is pBuzz an appropriate musical instrument to raise awareness of children, of age school, for the instrumental learning of the metal family? Seeking to answer this question and the research hypotheses, a musical program was carried out, where pBuzz was experienced by children, aged between 6 and 8 years. The results of this experiment are described in the development of the PIP and are indicators of the effectiveness of this musical instrument in motivating instrumental musical learning.
