The development of technology has shown an exacerbated growth over time. and in a business environment increasingly marked by competitiveness, companies must constantly seek innovations that provide competitive advantage. RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is considered a game-changing when it comes to innovation, contributing to increase efficiency and productivity in organizations (Otaru et al., 2020). The present master’s thesis, in an organizational context, has as its main objective to develop and improve some of the MD (Master Data) procedures, through robotization processes, via RPA solution. At the same time, it aims to explore the necessary conditions for the implementation of RPA in the organization under study. This investigation is a particular Case Study carried out in the Nors Group, during the time that the curricular internship took place. This is a study from a qualitative perspective, of an exploratory nature, adopting multiple sources as a data collection method, including semi-structured interviews, document analysis, participatory observation and through attendance at onboarding sessions provided by the Group. This study allowed us to conclude that the necessary conditions to implement RPA in the organization are in accordance with what is verified in the literature. It is concluded that the biggest obstacle to the adoption of RPA in Master Data processes is based on the fact that they have urgent information, leading to a relatively unpredictable moment of the robot action, making the management of licensing and the period of action as limiting factors.
