A imputação de direitos de voto nos termos do artigo 20º do código dos valores mobiliários

Abstract

The imputation of voting rights considering the relevance of the practical implications arising from its application is a relevant topic. In this study, we will approach this mechanism, present on the article 20º of the “Código dos Valores Mobiliários”, focusing with particular attention on the cases in which the application creates the constitution of duties of notification of the acquisition or disposal of major shareholdings or of the requirement to launch a takeover bid. In the end we will yet analyze a practical example of one of the categories provided on the norm that regulates this system.
