Abstract

Studying a foreign language involves mastering certain skills, particularly the pragmatic or communicative. In this context, however, one of the biggest difficulties that usually presents refers to oral interaction. Knowing that learning the foreign language often goes through classrooms, it is imperative that the learner knows the best way to develop this skill and being aware of the strategies it uses to do so. But to optimize these results, it is urgent to create in the students reflection habits on their own learning and how it is processed. Accordingly, in this research work it approaches a perspective of developing oral interaction through student self-regulation, which will take you to understand how to learn in this way. Because of it, we argue for the need to promote self-regulation of learning and internalizing its practice in students so that they realize what they did, how they did and how they can improve and overcome their difficulties, while they develop their communicative competence. To this end, we present a proposal of a pedagogical intervention enabler of improved oral dexterity and promoter of self-regulation of this learning. Also, are described the results and conclusions that were obtained after the study implementation.
