This reflective report aims to describe my professional career as a secondary school teacher and constitutes an exercise of critical reflection that is theoretically based on my educational praxis. The report is organised in a temporal continuum that corresponds to two fundamental parts, which I have designated, respectively, as The Scale of Memory and Language: from Communication to the Representation of the Infinite. The main objective of the first part is to account for the most significant moments and contexts in the construction of my personal, academic and professional identity. The most relevant points from my professional career are the subject of analysis and reflection in light of the theoretical frameworks provided by the Educational Sciences, and more specifically, Social Pedagogy. The second part is closely linked to the first and considers the importance of language as an element that brings together all knowledge and promotes the integration of individuals in their community. Social Pedagogy emerges as a praxeological science anchored in the relation between education and social solidarity. It lies at the heart of education and human progress and its socioeducational reflection and action contribute to the promotion of integration, stimulating change and wellbeing. As such, it functioned in this work as a unique theoretical lens that allowed me to highlight the relevance of Language as a Factor of Integration and Social Promotion.
