The report presented here was prepared as part of the Master's Degree in Music Education at UCP – Porto and is divided into two parts. In the first part, the report on the professional practice internship at the Conservatório Reginal de Música de Vila Real is developed, during the academic year 2022/2023, in the violin class of Professor Edmundo Pires. During this academic period, the intern teacher was able to observe and give violin lessons (M24) and ensemble classes (M32), the latter also with the collaboration of Professor Valer Palma. During the internship, he also prepared piano rehearsals, assisted and helped in the preparation of auditions, and observed end-of-year global exams. In addition, he participated in extracurricular projects proposed and developed by students. His main objective was to bring the greatest benefit, both motivational and technical, to the students with whom he collaborated, and hence arose the theme for his research, developed in the second part of this document, which focuses on: The organization of violin study as a strategy for controlling performance anxiety.
