The inclusion of children with Special Educational Needs is being achieve a particular relevance in schools. Thus, it is essential to understand the parents’ perception towards inclusion, being this the main objective of this qualitative study. It was used a qualitative approach to a better comprehension of the problematic explored. In this study it was used a sample of 8 mothers from a public school in Vila Nova de Famalicão. Data were collected with semi-structured interviews and submitted to content analysis. In the present study it was found that mothers are favorable to inclusion, showing credibility in this process, mention the desire of child’s care and several advantages as social acceptance, learning, relationship with colleagues and the development of social skills.
