The preparation of this report is included in the activities resulting from the Master Course of Nature Professional Medical-Surgical Nursing, 2010/2012, the Portuguese Catholic University. The form of presentation of the fields of stage, previously housed in individual project calls for the travel experiences by observing, as spectator, defined activities that aimed to obtain skills guided by general and specific objectives of each clinical experience. The stages conducted in a technically and culturally conscious, the Emergency Department of Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa - Israel and the Intensive Care Unit Multipurpose in the Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Central - Hospital de São José. Throughout the document the Transcultural Nursing occupies a central abreast with the Caring for the person and family in a critical situation; this perspective is maintained by establishing cultural asymmetries, what is the meaning of inference and interference in their care. It also opposed the concept of "run" and "being", from the person and family in a critical situation, highlighting the importance of culturally sensitive care in order to achieve an effective nursing care. This exhibition is referenced in the Paradigm of Transformation, a perspective of openness to the universe and looking at the person as being universal, and concrete form in the theoretical model of the Universality of Cultural Care Diversity and Madeleine Leininger. The reflection on the skills acquired concludes this stage of training, this chapter assumes a positivist account, and a mature prospective future Nurse Caring effectively betting on a holistic attitude against the person. The chapter refers to the conclusion, highlights the experience and how to integrate the phenomena experienced in practice that contribute to develop the decision-making and achieve the level of competence expected for the Nurse Specialist in Medical-Surgical.
