Abstract

The digitalization has brought along new ways to perform work, being an undoubtable fact that digital platform work is now a reality with a great growth tendency. Moving away from the traditional model of subordinate work, digital platform work brings along countless advantages, though not without the existence of associated risks. Certain is the fact that, to this day, there isn’t any protection for the people who see in this way of work their income source, so it is important to understand how far we have come and how far we still have to go.
