Throughout time, journalism has become increasingly digital, present in a growing numberof platforms and in more moments of people's daily lives. If, on the one hand, newsstandsales still represent a strong component in the sustainability and work of newsrooms, on theother hand, the fragmentation between channels requires the adoption of differentiatedstrategies for distinct audiences.Using previous research, it is intended to investigate, initially, what has been the evolutionof the sustainability and financial viability of the Portuguese media, assessing whether thereare identifiable trends in the recent past in terms of the evolution of circulation and sales. Itis also intended to better understand how print media has been adapting to online channelsand the many possibilities it offers. The research to be conducted aims at studying the newsmagazine Visão and how it hasadapted to an increasingly digital reality in a new freemium context. Results were obtainedand conclusions were reached through the analysis in this report of the paper magazine, the magazine's website and its Facebook page. As a conclusion of this report, it was found that the magazine has made great efforts to broaden its reach and its number of subscribers, even though it still remains highly focused on its weekly edition continuity. It was also possible to perceive that its strategy also includes increasing the number and recurrence of touch points with its readers, namely through the creation of new contents and making these available from a higher number of channels.
