A técnica de pedaleira no ensino do órgão

Abstract

No another instrument of the present has a history so ancient and long like the organ. Along more than two millenniums the construction of this instrument knew countless technological developments that allowed, between other things, a great evolution in the intricate mechanisms of sound production. This technological evolution brought with itself improvements in the resonant quality of the instrument and made possible the creation of different musical contents.
The pedalboard, essentially a keyboard that is destined to the execution of a musical passage with the feet, accompanied these technological progresses and the evolution of his construction was translated also in different musical results.
This work aims to study how these musical results are connect with the evolution and construction of the pedalboard and his educational and pedagogic implications.
The results of this investigation will be compiled then in a proposal of method destined exclusively to the pedalboard, able to include all the necessary technical contents to the formation of a pupil of organ.
