Watching television is no longer simply turning on the screen: it goes beyond the box itself. The continuous growth of the digital and hybrid television of today allows for new consumption habits, new routines, and countless screens. Bearing in mind the constant evolution of the television device, this project aims to observe whether these functionalities are part of the Portuguese people’s habits. Anchored on a theoretical basis, this analysis is built on Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação (ERC)’s, GfK’s and Universidade Católica Portuguesa’s Faculdade de Ciências Humanas’ study As Novas Dinâmicas do Consumo Audiovisual em Portugal.
