The objective of this investigation is to find out how the use of Moodle in the classroom contributes to the collaborative learning in professional courses, particularly in this. For such, interviews were conducted to director of platform Moodle school in order to obtain data about who uses the platform and how they do it; and ICT Coordinator in order to obtain data on the use of ICT in school and given training in this area. With class teachers involved in the study we opted for the Focus Group technique in the final phase of the study to gather information to better understand the effects of the methodologies applied. Surveys were also conducted for class teachers on the one hand, and students in the class on the other, to find out their perception about the use of ICT in general and the use of Moodle in the classroom as well as advantages and disadvantages of using the same. Data analysis used a qualitative analysis combined with elements of quantitative analysis. The results indicate, among other results, that teachers consider the use of Moodle a gain in student learning and students think all teachers should use Moodle in the classroom. During this study, no improvements were observed on school results of many of the students involved.
